We’re tried to upgrade Jetson linux version to 35.3 from 35.1 using sudo apt dist-upgrade.
Installation got failed due to dpkg error. So, we tried to restart the orin and re-run the upgrade command.
After restarting, orin is not getting booted up and getting heated up alot. below are the boot logs captured from debug port. boot logs.txt (6.9 KB)
Please just reflash your board with sdkmanager from another x86 PC.
Also, there is actually no need to “sense” your board by using “feel”. The boot log shows the start up temperature is 37C only. It seems not related to the main issue now.
Is there is any way to retrieve the data from the orin before reflashing?
and these logs are taken after cooling down the temperature by disconnecting all the connections for a while. else, we’re not able to touch orin for disconnecting the connections.
When the UEFI comes to this stage, press ESC and choose to boot from option 1 instead of 0 and see if that boots. If that fails too, no matter what situation, a reflash is must-have. I can guide you to clone out the data but I cannot guarantee you can use that data to boot anymore. For example, if your file system is already corrupted, cloning it out and boot from it will just repeat another boot failure case.

We tried pressing ESC, then it entered Boot Manager Menu. It is not taking input to select boot options.
Somehow we’re able to login once, so took the backup of all the data and flashed the board using flash script.
