It is stuck at the logo screen after reset and does not move forward to the login page.
I am unable to install the SDK components onto the Jetson TX2 after flashing the OS. When I try to install the sdk components it gives me an error saying that "could not connect to the target device.
I have attached photos of the logo screen, error while installing sdk components and also the logs while installing sdk components.

Try booting the Jetson normally, keep the USB connected, run SDKM without flash (just keep install of packages), and when it gets to that point:
- Unplug the USB.
- Monitor "dmesg --follow".
- Find the MAC address as you plug the USB back in.
- Go to your GUI network settings and mark the MAC address as active (enable this device).
- Now try to continue on, or restart SDKM while leaving USB up.
After running “dmesg --follow”, when I unplug and replug the USB, there is no address that comes up.
Hi rsethuna,
After flashing and Jetson device booting up, usb-device mode is up . The expected results at this stage are:
- 192.168.55.1 is assigned to Jetson device
- 192.168.55.100 is assigned to host machine
If you can see the name like “enp0s26u1u1” and no ip address, you can use below command to enable host machine:
sudo ifconfig enp0s20f0u1 192.168.55.100 netmask 255.255.255.0
After host machine usb-device mode enable, please run sdkmanager again.
I solved the issue. I had been running the flash with an SD card inserted which, I assume, cause the OS to flash on the SD card and the Jetson was never responding after that. When I flashed it again after removing the SD card, the system booted up and worked properly.
Thanks for the help.
