Jetson TX1 as xPC Target

Hello,

I am setting up a xPC Target PC with Matlab Simulink Real-Time which creates a real time application that can run on an embedded system.
Now I am looking for small and powerful hardware and it seems that the Jetson TX1 has what I need.

But is the Jetson TX1 able to run as xPC Target PC?
Since it will be in a closed metall box I am also wondering how the temperature is when the performance is high?

The supplied software for Jetson TX1 supports only Linux (the L4T flavor of Ubuntu).

For Matlab, our understanding is currently native Matlab binaries are not provided for interactively running Matlab sessions on ARM, you could refer the update comments at below link:
