I have a Jetson TX2 dev kit and I’m interested in getting a carrier board that is more lightweight and portable.
My problem is similar to this post here:

The problem is I see plenty of carrier boards that are in my price range ($200) for the TX2 NX, and none for just the TX2 module. So my question is can a TX2 NX carrier board be compatible with the TX2 development kit?

No, they’re not compatible, the TX2 module is not able to work on TX2 NX devkit carrier board.
