Kernel update for JetPack5.1.3?

Hello,
Trying to use a MT7921 usb wireless adapter. It is in kernel 5.15 - is updating a JetPack 5.1.3 install with the 5.15 kernel workable? Tried getting the MT7921 code and compiling… but it reports unresolved data structures. The adapter is Mediatek, ID 0e8d:7961
