I have to travel a lot due to my job, and I am looking for a light laptop (1.5kg or less) where I can run CUDA codes.
I do not need a powerful GPU, just to run small examples to check that my codes work before running them in an independent cluster.
It is difficult to find a laptop that satisfies both constraints.
The following one seems to fit my needs but I am not sure if the GPU can be used to run CUDA codes:
If “MX 350” refers to a GeForce MX350: This is an entry-level mobile GPU based on the Pascal architecture with compute capability 6.1 and as such is supported by currently shipping versions of CUDA.
Thank you very much for your comments, they are very helpful.
Yes, the constraint <1.5kg can be relaxed to 1.6kg!!
I think that I made my decision with the same MSI model but better GPU:
MSI Prestige 14 Intel Core i7-1185G7 RAM 16GB, SSD 512GB and GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q (1.3kg)
