Light linking

Hi,
Is it possible in Omniverse to select individual elements or objects to include or exclude from specific lights during render? In other software, this feature is often referred to as light linking, light groups, or similar. Does Omniverse support something like this, and if so, how can it be done?

@paulo.madeira3d yes, there is! you can take a look at the official doc to understand both light and shadow linking:

if you’ve used light linking in other programs, it shouldn’t be too difficult to set things up inside of OV. but just in case, here’s an official tutorial/overview from a few years ago that’s still applicable in the latest kit versions:

Yes we support some limited features like Light Linking. You can selectively include and exclude objects with lights and also objects with and without shadows.
