Missing Material after character transfer

Hi,
i am following the instruction videos for character transfer and it works so far. Unfortunatelz, I am facing one problem. After the step “Post Wrap” the character material breaks and the face of my character gets purple (see screenshots). Could you tell me, why this is happening and how I could prevent it from happening?
