I have an NVIDIA AGX Xavier that I flashed using sdkmanager with a laptop running either 20.04 or 22.04 (I can’t seem to recall and currently don’t have access to this laptop). To get internet access to my Xavier, I was using an ethernet connection from my host pc to the Xavier.
I had to switch to a different laptop running Ubuntu 22.04 and now when I try to connect the ethernet from this new laptop to the Xavier, I am unable to connect to the internet. Both laptops were setup in the same manner.
Or even just guide me on how I should, without following any other third-party website, how to connect the Jetson to the internet.
I basically have an ethernet cable and a ethernet to usb c adapter. My setup involves connecting one end of the ethernet to the Jetson and the other end into the usb c adapter into the ubuntu laptop.
I mean I don’t feel like this is a Jetson-specific task, but more like a general Ubuntu/Linux thing.
Maybe you should first validate by sharing the Internet connection to another PC, so you make sure the issue is not about the laptop.
Why Windows stuff here?
Anyway, I don’t know how I can help you without knowing your Internet environment.
Like, if the same setting works with the same Jetson device before, and it breaks with another PC, then I don’t feel like it’s an issue on our side.
I have an Ubuntu 22.04 Laptop and a Jetson Xavier AGX.
I flashed the Jetson Xavier AGX with an Ubuntu 20.04 but do not have access to that laptop anymore. To get internet on the Xavier AGX, I was using an ethernet connection between the 20.04 and Xavier and was able to access the internet.
A few days ago, I had to switch to this 22.04 laptop and thought I could similarly use an ethernet connection between the 22.04 and Xavier to get the Xavier on internet. However, that was not the case.
Unfortunately, I do not have access to the router so I can not get internet via that.
