NVIDIA Orin NX Developer Kit 3.0-32616947

I am having the worst experience ever and would expect much more than this. Plugged in my new Orin Nano Development Board and it seems that I have a 3.0 device instead of the 36.0 expected. I have been going round in circles to get this to a basic Linux prompt. Does decent documentation exist to get started? This is not the experience I was expecting. For now I just want to send it back. I’m aware that this is probably the wrong forum, but I could not navigate to something that made sense.

Hello,

Welcome to the NVIDIA Developer forums! Your topic will be best served in the Jetson category.

I will move this post over for visibility.

Cheers,

Re-flash the device with whatever versions you want:

Thanks for this link. After finding a jumper I can confirm that the flash worked. Do you think it better to use an NVME as opposed to a MicroSD? The former to me is more intuitive.

I’d add that this was not the experience I was looking for out of the box and I hope that this is a rare occurrence. It has taken me a week to coordinate getting the device running.

NVMe disk should be more stable as it’s physically attached to the board, while SD card may be ejected unexpectedly.
