NVIDIA unable to change 4k resolution

I have been facing a problem with my setup and need your help. I am currently using a Dell Inspiron 15 3511 equipped with a GeForce MX350 GPU and a Samsung Smart Gaming TV 43" Neo QLED 4K model 43QN90B as a monitor. Kernel 5.19.

My aim is to run a display resolution of either 2560 x 1440 or 3840 x 2160, but I have been unsuccessful so far. My system is running on Ubuntu 22.04, and I am connecting the laptop to the TV using a HDMI 2.0 cable.

I have tried various ways to change the resolution but it either reverts back or does not show these options at all. I’ve updated my NVIDIA driver to the latest version and have also tried editing the xorg.conf file, but with no luck.

Can anyone guide me as to what could be going wrong? Any assistance or suggestions to troubleshoot this would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
