Hello.
We will designed custom board for Orin NX pcie endpoint mode. But we matched root port board no CLKREQ# signal, Is this signal important? If not, how can I solve it?
CLKREQ# signal is from endpoint to host to apply clock.
So if this signal is not present on the host, it will not be affected, right?
Just make sure the host pcie clock has output, right?
Do you have any suggestions?
In general, host will output clock when its CLKREQ# is asserted by endpoint.
What you mean is that as long as the host has a clock output, this signal can be ignored, right?
I don’t understand your meaning. Please refer to PCIe spec or your device data sheet to the questions.
I mean just make sure host PCIe clock have output, this CLKREQ# signal can be ignored.
It sounds ok, but not meet that before. You will need to handle the driver changes.
