Orinnx poweroff and power on,it not work。

hi。
we design our board with Orin nx 16G,with external ssd。
the soft version is jetpack 5.1. LT4 35.2.1 。
our design is no eeprom。so we change the config is:
- cvb_eeprom_read_size = <0x100>
+ cvb_eeprom_read_size = <0x0>

we in the using, power off and power on,probability not work, about 1 time of 30 times.
we change another orin nx,then work normal, the ssd is the original one。
please help,is the renson of same file is not found。。

Hi,

What do you mean about power off or power on?

Thanks

ok
the power supply the device.remove or insert.

Could you let us know the power supply voltage input to the carrier board? Could you share the UART logs in Pass and fail cases? Please share the module pictures showing the module bar codes/serial number.

1、the power supply voltage input to the carrier board is right because change anorther orin NX is ok,include the sequence of power on.
2、the log we will print later。
3、the orin nx version number is p3767

What is the output voltage and current rating of the power supply you are using? Picture if available would help.

Could you provide a clearer picture of the 2D bar code and the serial number?

the log file as below。

From the log you shared, there’s the RAS error before kernel loaded.

From above line, it seems you are using Jetpack 5.1.3(L4T r35.5.0) rather than Jetpack 5.1(L4T r35.2.1).
Do you update the uefi binary manually?
Or I guess it is caused from you used different Orin NX module since QSPI is inside the module.

There may be the boot issue if the version of bootloader and rootfs are from different releases.
Please put the failed module on your board and perform full flash to check there’s still the similar issue.

the version is r35.5.0 we used.
we never update the uefi manually.
we reflush the module it will work normally.
we want to known the Jetpack 5.1.3 version is ok for product .

We use five new Orin NX units with one external SSD to flash the system. All five Orin NX devices have now been successfully flashed.

The software team deploys the algorithm package onto that initial SSD. We then use cloning tools to replicate it to four additional SSDs, which are installed into the remaining four Orin NX units for deployment."**

flash methord is below:

This command looks good to me to flash Orin NX with NVMe connected.

It seems you can flash Jetpack 5.1.3(r35.5.0) and boot the board successfully.
