Questions about the steps to draw the waypoints

Hi, community:

I am working on AODT v1.1.0 deployed on Ubuntu 22.04 with single RTX6000 with colocated set up.

For a manually created UE, I would like to specify its mobility path via editting waypoints in EM simulation.

My steps are:

  1. deploying a RU and UE and the EM simulation went well.
  2. clicking on the Edit Waypoints button in the UE property widget.
  3. the window was

  1. holding SHIFT and clicking the ground so that there are 5 square marks in the scene
  2. clicking the done button
  3. clicking the button to generate UE and start mobility with duration mode (10 s with 1 s interval)

However, the UE didn’t follow the waypoints when I played the simulation and the UE height was changed from 0.1 to -0.7

Could you please show me the right steps to edit waypoints so that UE can move on the predefined route.

For example, I hope UE to move on a fixed rectangle route.

@guofachang Your procedure is correct. Make sure that

  1. the UE->Manually created box is checked.
  2. Your interval and/or duration is long enough for your speed settings so that UE mobility is visible
  3. UE height cannot be less than 1.1.
  4. Are you able to share a video of what you are seeking?

  1. were you connected to the backend worker?
  2. did the route show up as orange paths as you placed them?
  3. When you generate UE’s, the trajectories should show up. Do you see them?
  4. Is you trajectory long enough for the simulation?

Sorry for the late reply. The problem will be retried with Release 1.2.
