Recommendations on rigging a character for Omniverse?

So I usually use Advanced Skeleton for all my rigging but I’m wondering if theres a better recommendation for maximum compatibility with Omniverse.

Without seeing the structure of this particular rig tool, its hard to say if it is compatible or not. I brought your inquire to our character animation expert to get more insight.

The maya plugin has a guide (located here: Maya — Omniverse Connect documentation) discusses how a rig should be setup for export to USD.

There should be a single joint hierarchy under a skel root, then the skeleton and geometry grouped. Essentially, an export rig and a separate control rig.
