Retry system configuration in headless mode

I have a headless Jetson Nano setup. I would like to know how to redo this setup.

Setup and First Boot

ls /dev/cu.usbmodem*
sudo screen /dev/cu.usbmodem14216221044843 115200

I connected the Jetson Nano to my Mac with a USB cable and finished the initial setup. But I realized the error in my setup. I want to redo my settings. I tried the same method again, only to be asked for a user and password to log in. I re-created the SD card but my settings still seemed to be there. How do I start the setup all over again?

Hi,
Do you use Jetson Nano module with SD card slot or with embedded emmc? Would like to know which type of module you are using.

I thought the one I purchased only had an SD card slot. But I see your question and double check the one I purchased had 16GB eMMC. So my information was stored there. Please advise me on both the SD card slot model and the eMMC model.

Hi,
Please check if you can loging through UART command line and backup data. And then do clean re-flash. IF your Jetson Nano has embedded emmc, it is better to set up a host PC with Ubuntu 18.04 and install SDKManager. So that you can re-flash the system through SDKManager.

Okay, thanks. I will give it a try.
