SDK Manager does not recognize Drive PX2 target

Dear NVIDIA moderators,

We have had the NVIDIA Drive PX2 for around 5 years and have already reinstalled the Drive OS many times. Currently, we are unable to flash Drive OS through the SDK manager provided here, which recommends version 1.6.18175.

In the past we used to flash Drive OS w/ a previous version of the SDK Manager (in particular version 0.9.14.4964). However, this is not available anymore in the archive and, in addition, I am unable to log in with my credentials on any versions prior to 1.6.18175.

The main issue is that SDK Manager does not present a DRIVE option in the product category
opposed to what is mentioned in the SDK Manager User Guide, and hence it does not recognize the target hardware when connecting to the host computer w/ a USB-A-A cable (in any of the USB ports).

I believe the issue I have is similar to the one presented in the following topics (within the forum):

Some extra information about the target and DriveOS version(s), respectively:

nvidia@tegra-ubuntu:~$ uname -r
4.9.80-rt61-tegra
nvidia@tegra-ubuntu:~$ cat /etc/nvidia/version-ubuntu-rootfs.txt
5.0.10.3-12606092

Let me know if you need any additional information that could help out.

Hello,

In the end we found a recent answer from @ SivaRamaKrishnaNV in the following post SDK Manager and PX2 - #2 by artis.rusins . He suggested running sdkmanager --archivedversions in the host computer, which ended up detecting the Drive PX2.

I will keep this thread updated about our findings or if any additional issues pop up.

Hello @electrobusy ,
were you able to flash PX2 successfully without any issues? If you were, could you please share details about your setup?

Hello @artis.rusins ,

Yes, I have been able to do so on the DPX2 Autochauffeur. We have an issues w/ downloading the Devtools documentation, as I am still waiting for approval for the NVIDIA DRIVE® AGX SDK Developer Program Membership for more than a week. But we have successfully flashed the Drive OS.

The steps are the same as mentioned in your topic.

Let me know if you need any additional information.

Dear @electrobusy ,
thank you for your response! My organization is part of AGX SDK Developer program but we are still having issues with Devtools documentation which is odd. About flashing: did you use regular ubuntu 16.04 or virtual machine?

Hello,

Regular Ubuntu 16.04 and installed the latest nvidia drivers (in the host).
