SSH via USB not working on Windows

Hi,

I’m trying to connect Xavier NX with my Windows computer through SSH via USB. I found out I’m having the same problem as mentioned here: Windows is killing ssh connection and Coneection Problems.
Unfortunately, this issue wasn’t really solved. Has anyone dealt with this, or are there any tips to make it work?

Thanks!

Edit: Ping seems to “wake it up” somehow. If I ping the Jetson, it gets a few Timeouts and then starts responding. Then I can log in through ssh successfully, but it only lasts a few seconds.

sorry. Most of our usecase is based on ubuntu host.

Suggest to try with ubuntu host.

I can’t answer, but I can tell you that Windows has its own ideas on security and on sleep. So what you’re looking for would be a Windows setting (it is unlikely that the Jetson itself is in charge of this, but you could monitor “dmesg --follow”, and at the moment when Windows fails, there might be a clue; most likely it would just be a note about the connection, and not about why, since it would be Windows determining the why).
