Switching to Drive OS 6.0.8.1 ON Drive Orin

Hi team,
I am looking forward to switching to DRIVE OS 6.0.8.1 on drive Orin.

Instead of downloading the docker software from official website, Can I download an installation script by using the command given in the document. Because I am not sure the type of Docker software needed.

Dear @akshay.tupkar,
Firstly you need to install docker and setup NGC account using the instruction provided at Set Up Docker and NVIDIA GPU Cloud Access | NVIDIA Docs

After that, Follow the instructions at Set Up DRIVE OS Linux with NVIDIA GPU Cloud (NGC) | NVIDIA Docs to download the DRIVEOS 6.0.8.1 docker container and flash the target.

Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV
I will follow the instructions provided in the document. As we discussed earlier that it can be installed using sdk manager. I noticed, I cannot see DRIVE OS 6.0.8.1 version in sdk manager even after updating sdk manager. What am I supposed to do in this case?

Using
wget -qO- https://get.docker.com/ | ${SHELL} , Can I directly download docker?

Dear @akshay.tupkar,
Yes. It installs the docker. Please follow the docker flashing method.

Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV

In the command given in image, do i need to use this command as it is or is there any need to set $ {WORKSPACE} ?

Hi @akshay.tupkar,
-v is used to map the local host folder onto docker. You can set any host folder path to WORKSPACE so that it gets mapped to /home/nvidia in docker. This helps to share files across host and docker.

Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV
I have finished the process of flashing. I can see on host screen that Flashing completed successfully. Now how to check the version of DRIVE OS on drive orin?

Please check /etc/nvidia/version-ubuntu-rootfs.txt

Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV
Yes, I can see Drive OS 6.0.8.1. I want to know one more thing is that, upgraded CUDA version is included in this Drive OS new release?

Yes.

That confirms, flashing is successful. Please check Finalize DRIVE AGX Orin System Setup | NVIDIA Docs as well.

Dear @SivaRamaKrishnaNV
I have connected a display to drive agx orin developer kit. On the Drive AGX Orin, I can see driveworks-5.14 under /usr/local. But I can still see the cuda-11.4 version under /usr/local. Why has it not been upgraded ?

Coming to Finalilize drive agx orin set up, I am getting confused in accepting EULA. I was not prompted to accept anything while flashing. Just have a look at

Dear @akshay.tupkar,
Display is working means EULA is accepted already. DRIVE OS 6.0.8.1 also contains CUDA 11.4.x

Thanks for info @SivaRamaKrishnaNV
Are there any steps required for compiling driveworks samples and executing it on drive orin ?
Do we need to set up driveworks too?

Dear @akshay.tupkar,
