Thor USB-C port not registering USB devices after apt-update to r38.2

Playing with Thor for almost a week now, got wired issue with USB-C port, not A port:

After plugged in a USB-C device, and remove it, dmesg showing this message repeatly:
[ xx.xxxxxx](boot time) nvethernet a808d10000.ethernet: [xpcs_lane_bring_up][827][type:0x4][loga-0x0] PCS block lock SUCCESS

it’s no matter a USB-C NVMe drive or Hub, or a USB2 mouse

Before upgrading, with stock USB-Stick flashed system, this might occur or not I could not confirm. Looks like USB-C mux or PD controller is intervening a correct handshake with SoC from the peripheral connect..

Should I do some kernel debug for this to help you locate the possible cause? please guide me.

I guess there is a typo in your topic that it is r38.2 but not r28.2…?

you are correct. for some time not playing with a tegra, the version number is now much larger than used to.

Could you clarify whether you are using NV devkit or custom board?

NV kit, no modification, QSPI updated with 38.2

Does your upgrade mean “apt-get upgrade” or “apt-get update”?

What is the result of cat /etc/nv_tegra_release on your device now?

the USB-C drive appeared again, don’t know what’s the difference this time. I only installed firefox from Snap.
