TX1 carrier board EEPROM

Hi nvidia designers
Could you explain what is the function on EEPROM on TX1 carrier board, does it related to system power-on?
If we want to re-design our own carrier board, should we reserve this EEPROM and can you provide us image to download to EEPROM?

It is for internal usage. Not very good specified.
