I own a Dell Inspiron 7590 with Nvidia 1650. I tried to install Ubuntu 20.04.1 and installation froze at logo menu. After that, I applied nomodeset and managed to complete the installation. In spite of latest nvidia driver 450.66 installation, the computer keeps freezing during startup. How can this problem be solved? Ubuntu 18.04 works well either with the default open-source driver or your latest driver without any freezing.
