Which Ubuntu is needed now on host PC Where is that information?

Upgraded my nvidia graphics card and need to reinstall ubuntu as it fails to work with the upgraded card can I use a newer version than 18.04 yet?

The Ubuntu 18.04 is suggested for now.

Probably the next release will use Ubuntu 20.04. I’ll suggest that you keep your 20.04, but install an 18.04 system as well (e.g., reduce the partition size by half, and put 18.04 on the new half). I know this is somewhat troublesome to deal with, but my guess is that in the end this is better. I’ve done this for quite some time (and actually with more than two releases since I’ve also used Fedora), and it makes transitions much easier (plus I have a separate “/home” and “/usr/local” partition which I can simply mount on whichever one I boot).
