My Xavier shutdowns suddenly every 1 hour when only 4 camera drivers run on it.
The Xavier is provided with a 12v power supply. Sometimes the voltage may go below 12v. Supposed that there is no memory leak issue in the camera driver code, I am wondering whether the shutdown is caused by the unstable voltage.
Thx.
The Jetson is very sensitive to fluctuations in supply voltage. VERY. Motor noise will shut it down. Too long power wires will have enough induction that it can cause a shutdown or failure to boot.
You could put a secondary regulator between your flaky power and the Jetson to even the power. That could be a 4-cell LiFePO battery, or it could be something like a buck/boost controller with big capacitors and fast response time.
