Windows 177.35 CUDA 2.0b2 Driver Update now supports all cards

This is a cross-post from the CUDA 2.0b2 thread–just wanted to make sure everyone has seen it.

If you’re unable to install 177.35 due to a “no supported devices found” error, download the new driver. This will be all cards except the GTX 280 and GTX 260. If you have a GTX 280 or GTX 260, you do not need to download this update; it only adds support for other cards.

Remember, this is a beta driver intended for CUDA development only.

WinXP 177.35 driver
WinXP 64-bit 177.35 driver
Vista 32-bit 177.35 driver
Vista 64-bit 177.35 driver

Thanks, this driver installed on my HP 8710w Vista64 with a Quadro FX3600M
Interstingly devicequery shows the clock went from 0.4GHz up to 1.25GHz
I’m only seeing 12.8GB/s on the device to device bandWidth test.

However still no joy on glew64.dll
Any guidance on how to resolve that?
I saw that problem posted last week but haven’t seen a solution.

I hope this will install on my computer and resolve my problem. CUDA 174.55 won’t install.

Anyone know why this driver isnt listed on nvidias driver site even when you do a beta search? You would think that since nvidia posted this driver for the g200 series cards for download that they would do the same for the rest.

It is intended for CUDA use only–it hasn’t been fully qualified for graphics operation on non-GTX 2x0 cards. It should work, but be aware of that before you install it.

Hi,

I was able to get Geforce 9500M GS to install CUDA display driver 177.35 with the following modifications to nv_disp.inf.

Are there any known deficiencies with this, or why 9500M GS was not supported by default?

Thanks in advance,

Vesa
