Issue Description
I like to connect my radar sensor with 100Mbts BroadR-Reach ethernet interface directly to AGX Orin.

I think the only 100Mbps interface I can use is the MateNET J11 (see P3710 Networking: P3710 Networking | NVIDIA Docs). All other have 1Gbps or higher. Connection is at Pin1 & Pin2 of J11 (P1/100-T1).
My sensor has the ip address 192.168.40.2, the Nvidia Orin host on mgbe2_0 I set to 192.168.40.0

What do I have to configure to have access to the sensors ethernet data? In this post ( Connecting Sensor to 100BaseT Matenet port, and setting the port IP address - #8 by SivaRamaKrishnaNV ) setting up VLAN 900 in MGBE2 was the answer?

I tried sudo ifconfig mgbe2_0:900 192.168.40.0 but no success.

Thanks,
Uli

May I know which radar is used?

Hello Siva,

it is a new custom one. I already tested the radar sensor on mgbe1_0 with RJ45 and media converter. I could run successful the sample_radar_replay.

sudo ifconfig mgbe1_0 192.168.40.2 netmask 255.255.255.0
/home/nvidia/sample_radar_replay --protocol=radar.custom --params=decoder-path=/home/nvidia/NVRadarPlugin.so,ip=192.168.40.2,port=30400,protocol=udp --output-dir=/home/nvidia --profiling=0 --offscreen=0

Now I like to connect the sensor directly to Nvidia AGX Orin without a media converter.

Thanks,
Uli

Dear @ulrich.koerber2 ,
Generally we recommend to connect to host and target ethernet interface with LAN, and make settings on host to accessible from target. Then we can replace the host with sensor for testing.
