AGX Orin Display Port Stopped Working After it Initially Worked

Hi,

I’m using the AGX Orin 64GB Developer Kit. Initially, after flashing, connecting to a monitor via DP-HDMI or DP-DP worked perfectly, displaying the login screen and UI. However, after about a week, the monitor stopped showing the login screen; instead, it now displays the boot log fully but then either shows no signal or indicates an incorrect signal frequency.

Currently, I’m accessing the Jetson via microUSB from my Mac, and it logs in without issue, suggesting the problem might be specifically with the display output.

The issue might be related to package management, as I recall uninstalling some unnecessary packages shortly before the problem began. Additionally, the Jetson froze after waking from sleep mode around that time, and I’ve experienced display problems since.

Any assistance resolving this display issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,
Please try this:
Jetson AGX Orin FAQ

If it still cannot be recovered, would suggest re-flash the system. The latest release is Jetpack 6.2 r36.4.3.

Thank you! I tried the FAQ which didn’t work immediately, but helped lead me to the answer. The issue had to do with reinstalling some package dependencies and fixing an issue in the GNOME Display Manager.

Appreciate the help!
