Can't get UEFI Enabled ConnectX-5 card to work

Hi,

we use two Mellanox 2-port SFP+ / SFP28 cards to connect 4 SFP+ cameras to a PC, running Win10.
So far, we used ConnectX-4, ConnectX-5 and ConnectX-6 cards without problems.

Now we have 4 cards which seem to be UEFI enabled which I cannot get to work.
The model is

ConnectX-5 10/25GbE
CX512A

I tried to disable UEFI Enabled and PXE with mlxconfig tool (mlxconfig -d mt4119_pciconf0 set EXP_ROM_UEFI_x86_ENABLE=0) but that did not help.

The latest WinOF2 driver package is installed.

In device manager, all 4 network adapters state the same:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful.

What am I doing wrong?
How can I get these cards to run?

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

Edit:
Working cards: MCX512A-ACAT
Not working: MCX512A-ACUT

I still can’t get those cards to work. Tried to disable secure boot and fiddle with other bios settings.
No success so far.

I got it to work. Apparently it had nothing to do with UEFI enabled but with some BIOS setting.
Among others, I changed

  • PCI Express Native Control to Enabled
  • Primary Graphics Adapter from Auto to PCIE1
  • SR-IOV Support to Enabled
  • PCH PCIE ASPM Support from Disabled to Auto

No idea which one did the trick, but I don’t feel like looking into this mess any further.
