Cloth Simulation using PhysX SDK

Hello Omniverse Users and Developers,

I would like to introduce myself as a new user of the Nvidia Omniverse platform. I am trying to perform a cloth simulation using the physics simulation extension powered by the NVIDIA PhysX 5 SDK module in the Omniverse CREATE 2021.3 application.

Some issues that I am facing while executing this type of FEM simulation are as follows:

  1. I have a 2D cloth and a 3D human mesh, and I want to use this cloth as an outfit for this mesh in Omniverse. Therefore, I want to know if there is anything like sewing functionality to fit this cloth to the given mesh.
  2. Furthermore, I referred to the cloth and rigid in demo scenes to reproduce a physical scene, and I would like to learn how to create and implement a particle system in the cloth simulation.

I would appreciate it if you could provide some inputs regarding these queries. I am looking forward to your reply.

Thank you for your interest in our Simulation Extensions! Our PhysX SDK is still in beta. We do not have a ‘Sewing Functionality’ available at this time. I submitted a request for this feature on our internal ticketing system (OM-39078)
