Continued Orin USB problems

Continuing the discussion from Orin USB problems

Kayccc - KevinFFF,

I have the same problem with the Orin USB port. I had the issue when I was on Jetpack 5.0 and I still have the problem after updating to Jetpack 5.1. I only seem to have the issue with a serial GPS device but not with the mouse or keyboard and my program. I am using the Orin to develop for Xavier NT. The NT does NOT have an issue
with this setup.

Replugging the device restores the operation. I then start the program and everything works. If I exit and then restart the program the port will not send data until replugging.

I understand it’s difficult to reproduce if you don’t have the hardware setup. I would be happy to send you a serial GPS module and a python example so we can get this problem solved.

Thanks for your consideration.

:

Please try with Jetpack5.1.1 release(35.3.1) first.

What this is? Xaiver NX?

I believe my JetPack on AGX Orin is up to date.
