Crash Logs?

Hi,

I am using Create 2022.2.0 and while I can open and work on some files, if I change them and try and reload Create almost always crashes without any kind of message. I assume there are logs somewhere, but I don’t really know where I should be looking.

Any way I can view logs? Or set logging levels?

I am working on Windows 11 and installed to my C: drive, although I have been saving things in other drives. File is about 66 MB large, so not exactly small.

Weird - over 50 views and no one knows how to do this?
Anyway I found if I munged around and found a bat file that starts it and then outputs a log to the command console.
I got it to work like this:

cd c:\users\mike\appdata\local\ov\pkg\create-2022.2.0
omni.create.bat

There are probably better ways to do it (Console Extension in Kit maybe?), but this worked for me.

Still didn’t really find out why it crashed though, but I do have some hints now.

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with crashes in Create 2022.2.0. Please find the logs at “C:\Users<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\ov\pkg\create-2022.2.0\logs\Kit” and attach the logs so we can take a look. Also as standard, please update your video drivers to the latest NVIDIA version and try again.
