DGX Spark won't power on after being unplugged - two affected units

I have two DGX Spark units that won’t power on. I reached out to NVIDIA customer support and was directed to post here.

My unit:

  • Worked fine until I unplugged it for 5 days

  • Now shows no signs of life when I connect power - no fans, no warmth, no display output

  • This happened once before about two weeks ago, and it randomly started working after a couple hours

  • This is the first time I’ve unplugged the device since that incident

My father-in-law’s unit:

  • Has not worked for two weeks

  • Same symptoms - completely unresponsive

Troubleshooting attempted (on my unit):

  • Unplugged for over an hour

  • Tried multiple wall outlets

  • Tried holding ESC during power connection

  • Tried repeatedly pressing ESC during power connection

  • Tried holding DEL during power connection

  • Tried repeatedly pressing DEL during power connection

  • Removed all peripherals (keyboard, mouse, HDMI) and connected only power

  • Always using the included power adapter and cable

  • HDMI always connected directly to monitor

Is there a hard reset procedure we’re missing?
