Any suggestions what might be causing this?
Hi again, i have been trying alot with different solutions from forum posts but none seem to quite resemble the problem i am having.
The problem seems to be that the host machine get stuck on install pending on AI and driveworks however cuda installs no problem. The install gets to this but no further:
08:02:05 INFO: DriveWorks on Host - host: download /home/stad/Downloads/nvidia/sdkm_downloads/driveworks-v1.2.400-a7f5475-478955-nogcid-linux-amd64-ubuntu1604.deb successfully, checksum is correct
what can i do to get past this step? Can i install manually somehow?
Screenshot of where the install gets halted, the download failed is due to dev_tools documentation which i have seen other people struggle with aswell on forums.
Dear @err19002,
the download failed is due to dev_tools documentation
Could you access https://developer.nvidia.com/drive/secure/drive_bundles/Drive_50103L_SDK_b135_OS_GA/DevTool_docs.zip ?
what is the DRIVE release version on target currently?
Hi @SivaRamaKrishnaNV,
Yes i can accesss and download the link, the target is currently flashed with the Drive OS 5.0.10.3.
I solved the problem with flashing the px2 by reading lots of forum posts.
The problem that persists is that the host is not properly installed since sdkmanager hangs 77.78% and just says install pending as shown in previous picture.
Hi again @SivaRamaKrishnaNV,
I downloaded the file from the link and added it to the correct folder.
The first thing i noticed was that the zip file was named Devtool_docs.zip with a small t, when i renamed it the install said that the checksum of it was wrong.
Edit: I submited this as a bug, the ID of the ticket is 4368129.
Hi again @SivaRamaKrishnaNV
The devtools error seems to have been solved now but the install pending issue still persists for host tensorRT 4.0. Do you know if installing this https://developer.nvidia.com/compute/machine-learning/tensorrt/4.0/ga/nv-tensorrt-repo-ubuntu1604-cuda9.2-ga-trt4.0.1.6-20180612_1-1_amd64 on host computer would be equivalent?
Dear @err19002,
Could you check the issue from another host, I don’t expect issue with installation if there is no issue with host environment. I would recommend to have clean Ubuntu installation when install using sdkmanager to avoid issues related to host environment
.
Hi @SivaRamaKrishnaNV,
The issue remains after doing a clean installation on another desktop PC with a fresh Ubuntu 16 installation. The installer still halts at 77.78 % percent with AI and driveworks not installed on Host computer.
