Forward Compatible Design Help

Hi,
We are designing a AGX Xavier Carrier Card with (drop-in replacement) forward compatibility for Orin in mind. I wanted to ask some questions.

  1. Will the current power sequencing design with reference to P2822_B03 be compatible with Orin?
  2. The Pin description excel sheet has J62 as TEMP_SHDN_EN_N. On Xavier it is for GND. There are no mentions of this in Datasheet and Design guide. Please guide how to deal with it.
  3. Are the unused PCIe interfaces available for other use in Orin? e.g. using CLKREQ_N (J10,J11,A38) as GPIO in both designs to allow both interoperability and compatibility. The pinmux somewhat affirms this. Confirming just in case.
  4. Are there any potential issues we will have to look out for?

Thanks,

A few more details that might help with your questions:

  1. The current power sequencing design with reference to P2822_B03 will be compatible with Orin.
  2. Pin J62 is a RSVD pin.
  3. Pins like PEX_CLKREQ_N or RST_N that have GPIO functionality shown in the pinmux can be used as GPIOs. Any pin that is shown to support GPIOs in the pinmux can be used as GPIOs.
