How recovering access after losing password

i have a jetson xavier AGX and i have only one user declare and i have lost the passwd. How can i recover access to my logging whithout reinstalling the os

never mind. I have found the solution. I have made a bootable root filesystem on a usbkey, and reboot the jetson on this key. So after that, i have edited the files passwd and shadow.
