How to set contact_offset and rest_offset for DeformablePrim

Detailed Description

I want to create a deformable object that is above (cover) a rigid cube, but it always has a gap between them.
I found for SingleGeometryPrim there are functions that can set contact/rest offset but there is no documentation for DeformablePrim.

What I’ve Tried

Remove the cuboid and set the z position of deformable to 0.0, still floating

Set the contact_offset and rest_offset of DynamicCuboid to a small value, still floating

cube.set_contact_offset(0.0000001)
cube.set_rest_offset(0.0)

Related Issues

If I set the cuboid z position to 0, half of it is underground

If I set both of their z value to 0, so I have to set the object’s z as the half of their height to make sure they’re on the ground.

Some error always pop up when I run the simulator, but seems not related to this issue

Hi @lyx010318 thank you for posting your question and sorry for the delay. I will look into your files promptly. Did you try visualizing the deformable mesh? To do that you click on the Eye then Show By Type > Physics > Deformable Body > All. For me it looks like this on a quick scene I made up.
