Are you using the devkit or custom board for Xavier NX?
It seems you are using R35.4.1.

You could press “ESC” to enter UEFI menu to configure autoboot time from 5s to 0s.

Before entering the desktop, the icon will still display for 5 seconds. Can this be skipped?

Only the 5s timeout in 1st screenshot could be configured to 0s.

Your board should do many boot up tasks during the second logo showed.
You could just get a serial console cable and you would know what’s happening inside.
