I installed NoMachine on my ‘Jetson Orin NX 8GB’ model and later removed it using the ‘remove’ command. Afterward, when I reconnected it to the monitor, I encountered an ‘out of range’ issue. I tried reinstalling ‘Ubuntu 20.04’ via the ‘NVIDIA SDK Manager,’ but now I’m not getting any display.
Fearing I might have made a mistake, I tried reinstalling ‘Ubuntu 20.04’ again via the SDK Manager. However, during the ‘flash’ stage, the device disconnects from the VirtualBox virtual machine, and the installation gets interrupted. What should I do in this situation?
Hi baturoguz01,
Are you using the devkit or custom board for Orin NX?
What’s your Jetpack version in use?
We use L4T(Linux for Tegra), which is based on Ubuntu release.
What do you mean about “NoMachine”? Is that an application?
Please get a standalone Ubuntu host PC instead of using VM or you might have the USB connection issue during flash.
waveshare devkit
I don’t have ubuntu host PC but i have jetson nano devkit. Can i try on jetson nano?
Okay, we have not verified this user space application on the devkit.
Could you use apt purge
instead of remove command?
No, please get a standalone x86 Ubuntu host PC for SDK Manager.
