Isaac ROS 4.5 objects rendering flashing and shaking

Hi there,

I have recently upgraded my graphical card from 3070 to RTX5080. Operation system ubuntu 22.04.

The rendering worked fine with 3070 before. Now with 5080, it looks like below.

I have tried to play with DLSS or DLAA, not helping too much. Also I have been googling a lot, it seems no other people have the same issue..

Graphic card driver info is shown below:

@perter2015 there were others experiencing something visually similar in another thread. i cant definitively say the cause aligns, but i’ll include the link below in case a solution/workaround is mentioned by the devs:

in the meantime, could you try with driver thats recommended driver from the official doc?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I tried other Driver before, it seems not working with Ubuntu 22.04, this version is the only version I found that works “normally” with Ubuntu 22.04. (With other driver installed, I can’t even make nvidia-sim command work).

5080 was released on 2025-1-30, it seems rather new.

At least, now it is most likely the driver issue. When you say official driver, could you give me more information on that?

Could you please check if this rendering issue persists in the Isaac Sim 5.0 developer preview?

It is available for access via the official Isaac Sim GitHub repository. Testing with this newer version will help us determine if the issue has been addressed in recent updates.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I have being working with 4080 to avoid the problem.
Yes, I have tried it out, the 5.0_preview has solved the problem.
