I refereed to [isaacsim.simulation_app] Isaac Sim Kit Helpers — Isaac Sim . This document shows “open_usd” option is enable. But I cannot use the option. When would the document update ?

It seems that the environment was broken during the process of installing ROS 2. I’m currently investigating at what stage it broke.

There are too many changes, so isn’t it all written together somewhere?

This is additional information about the action graph.

After trying the docker image nvcr.io/nvidia/isaac-sim:4.5.0, I found that the action graph was also broken in the tutorial python file. Therefore, it seems that the current Isaac Sim 4.5 cannot correctly process the action graph in standalone scripts.

Let’s use this topic to address the action graph issue. I haven’t encountered this problem when running the Isaac Sim Full application through the Isaac Sim Selector. Could you please confirm if you experienced the same behavior on your end?

I’m using Isaac Sim with docker.

I can launch Isaac Sim with the below settings.

cd /isaac-sim/
./isaac-sim.selector.sh --allow-root

If I start it via the selector as you say, it seems that there are no problems.

isaac-sim.sh works fine, but ActionGraph is not loaded even in the sample for those using python.sh.

Hi. I believe this difference is expected and is not related to a container.

The python.sh uses the isaacsim.exp.base.python.kit while the Selector runs the full Isaac Sim kit file which is isaacsim.exp.full.kit. The actiongraph extension is only loaded in the Full kit file.

You can try add any additional extensions that you need in the .kit file or use command line flags to enable extensions.

It worked with Isaac Sim 4.2, but does that mean that the correct thing to do with Isaac Sim 4.5 is to not include the extension in python.sh?

If you don’t clearly indicate the changes from previous versions, I think it will become very difficult to continue using Isaac Sim.
