Jetpack 6 installation fails on Orin NX 16GB Boardo

Hi Team,

When trying to flash Jetpack 6 on the Orin NX 16 GB board, using the cmd line, we see an error which is attached.
Please let us know the correct procedure to flash and recover us from the flash issue.

Hi satya.k,

Are you using the devkit or custom board for Orin NX 16G?

[   0.2974 ] Sending bct_br
[   0.3444 ] ERROR: might be timeout in USB write.
Error: Return value 3

From the log you shared, it seems you have USB connection issue during flash.
Please refer to Q: I get a USB timeout error during flash Orin. How to resolve that? to check if it could help. Or you can try with another USB cable or port on your host.

Hi Kevin,

we have done the “echo -1 > /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend”; and still ended up with the same error.
In additional, we have no USB stick connected, instead we have only a USB cable that connects the Host Ubuntu PC with the Orin NX 16GB board.

Hi Team,
When tried with Jetpack 5.1.3 version installation; flashing process continues for around 12-15 mins and then breaks with an “Error: FLASHING DONE - with errors.”

Please share the full flash log from host and serial console log from the target at this moment.
