Jetson nano cannot detect hdmi and usb cables after flash

Hi I have flashed the jetpack from sd card during this morning and it works.


However, after that I unplugged the power and turn it on again and it happens like that, cannot detect hdmi and usb cables. What will be the issue?

  1. This is jetson TX2 forum. You filed in the wrong place.

  2. I am not sure why you would think some photos would help in checking this issue. As I already shared some info to you last year… Please try to share log file instead of these photos…

This is what I have got from serial console. I am also reading now which error I am facing.

Your device is totally not able to boot up. If this issue happened after every flash from you, then it could be issue on your board. Better clarifying what board you are using.

Ok thanks. But it is weird, because I bought it yesterday from local store and today I flash it and it works at the first time, so I power off and then when I try again, it happened like that. That’ why I cannot understand why and this is my second jetson nano. Is there any particular reason or any reason of why it happens?

You should try to reflash it again and see if you can reproduce this error again.

The log only told me your image is corrupted.
What I saw is just the result. Maybe you did something which you didn’t know or didn’t want to tell. Or maybe there are some hardware defect.
I won’t be possible to figure out by just this info you shared.

I reflashed it again but the error is still there. I tried to use SDK manager method but it cannot detect jetson nano. I have checked the board and if 5V power is not connected, I don’t see the green light when microUSB from jetson is connected to my laptop. Is this the issue?

Your comments are full conflict. You told us “you flashed it again” and then you told us “sdkmanger cannot detect your jetson nano”. If sdkmanager cannot detect it, then how did you flash your board? Sdcard image does not consider to be a “flash”.

For sdkmanager, you need to put the board into recovery mode manually so that sdkmanager can detect your board.

Please read the document with below link first… it will show you how to put the board into recovery mode.
