Jetson Nano Developer Kit DC Jack Powering

I want to power my jetson using the dc jack with an after market cable. The cable will is connected to a buck converter that steps down the voltage from 24V to 5V. I am reading 5V from the end of the DC jack but when actually plugged into the jetson it does not turn on. The power light does not turn on and I am reading zero voltage from the header. The jumper was placed on the correct pins to use this as well.

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? I don’t want to fry my Jetson lol.

Have you checked Power supply considerations for Jetson Nano Developer Kit - Jetson & Embedded Systems / Jetson Nano - NVIDIA Developer Forums?

Yes I did, did not really help with my issue.

That looks like power supply issue. Please use another supply to have a try.
