Jetson Xavier board cannot detect Samsung SSD 970 EVO NVMe M.2

We have 2 different Jetson Xavier boards purchased around 1 month apart. The latest board detects and uses the SSD just fine while the previous board cannot detect it. Both boards have the same kernel and same Jetpack version installed.

It’s definitely not the SSD since we moved the SSD from the old board to the new one and it works just fine.

Could you try other SSD on M.2 port with old board?
Just want to confirm this is M.2 port issue or not.

I’m afraid this is a hardware issue. I went through 3 NVME SSDs without any success while they work fine on the new board.
