I’m experiencing a fatal exception error when attempting to boot my NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX using Antmicro’s Open Source Jetson Baseboard (AVerMedia EN715). The error log shows a kernel panic with messages indicating a NULL pointer dereference.
I’ve attached an image of the error screen and have a video of the boot process as well, showing the issue.
Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this or have suggestions on resolving this boot error? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Actually you should provide more detail about this issue but not just throw out a photo from your phone and ask if any solution…
Which jetpack version is that?
Any full text serial console log from UART to share?
Any specific test case to trigger this error?
And as this issue is on Avermedia board, have you ever reported your issue to Avermedia?
Thank you for the response. I’ll provide more context to help diagnose the issue.
The error consistently occurs during the boot process, even without any peripherals connected. Unfortunately, I’m not certain of the JetPack version since I purchased the board from a vendor. I’ve attached the full UART serial console log for reference.
I have also reached out to AVerMedia support, but I haven’t received a response yet. I wanted to check with the community here to see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with this setup.
If there’s anything specific I should try or additional logs you’d like to see, please let me know. Thank you again for your assistance.
HI,
I don’t know what does that mean “. I’ve attached the full UART serial console log for reference.” but I saw nothing for that from you…
