this is xavier that i have you . i connected it to ethernet and in ifconfig inet 10.20.1.0 when i was trying to ip address what might be the issue
The default is that IP address is assigned via DHCP from the router. If you run “ifconfig”, and if there is a router, then the address is automatic. Do you have this connected to a router?
Third party carrier boards tend to be supported by the third party due to having different firmware (the device tree), but some of them have firmware matching the developer’s kits. You would have to consult that brand’s instructions to know if you have to flash it with their software versus the NVIDIA dev kit software. If this is incorrect parts of the Jetson will fail to function until the correct device tree/firmware is in place.
