Losing textures when exporting using alpha blender 4.2

Hello all

I have this model of a wheelloader that I want to export as a USD. Before I was using regular blender and that was able to export textures just fine. It has some quirks that I didn’t like such as all the transformations being a 4x4 matrix rather than translation, rotation, scaling being separate, and not being able to export skeletons. Si I switched to the alpha blender, but I am not able to export textures at all.

Has anyone encountered this issue, or know how to solve it?
I tried most of the setting combinations, such as override textures, export cycles, export mdl etc.

This topic is about the Omniverse Blender USD exporter rather than Isaac Sim, so this category isn’t the best fit for support on this issue.

The Blender 4.2 alpha exporter has since been updated — the texture export issue may have been resolved in newer releases. We’d recommend trying the latest version of the Omniverse Blender
connector
and checking if the issue persists.

If it does, please open a new topic under Kit App Template / SDK or the appropriate Omniverse connector category with your updated Blender/connector
versions so the platform team can assist.
