Materials of models in "NVIDIA Assets" could not be loaded correctly

Hi Experts,

I found the materials of models from “NVIDIA Assets” could not be loaded correctly with USD composer v2023.2.5 on my workstation, however, the materials were rendered normally on the models from Sketchfab store.
The following picture shows the problem when using the model “Black_Oak”

The following snapshot proves the rendering is correct with other models from Sketchfab site:

The Internet access should be fine and I verified it on the browser with the following link from the model Black_Oak:

Please help me figure out the problem.
I would appreciate any suggestions.

My workstation settings are as follows:

  1. OV App: USD Composer v2023.2.5
  2. Graphic card: RTX A2000 12GB
  3. System Memory: 128 GB
  4. OS: Windows OS

It is all our Nvidia assets or just certain ones ? It is just this Oak tree ?

Having tested this on several machines it seems to load fine. So it might be a temporary issue at your end. Try again later.

I tried several models in “Nvidia assets” and all had the same problem. I am testing the materials in the “Materials” and they also fail to display. Please refer to the attachment.

I am unsure whether the network speed will cause some issues and I am connecting the internet with my cell phone because of the company cyber policy.

Ah yes. That would be it. You need a very fast and strong internet connection. You are not allowed to use your company’s internet even with permission from IT ? This will cause issues with using Omniverse.

Thank you for clarifying this.
I will try to acquire permission to access the Internet from IT.
Could you share the recommended network speed when using Omniverse, e.g. Is 50 Mbps downstream and 10 Mbps upstream enough for Omniverse?

Well the faster the better. There isn’t really a minimum.

Thank you for the feedback.
I will verify the issues after acquiring Internet access from IT. You may close this ticket.

Thanks
