Network connection down while trying to pull nvcr.io/omniverse/public/nucleus-api:109.9

I am trying to run Isaac Sim and an Omniverse Nucleus server. For the Nucleus server, I used the files on this page:
https://docs.omniverse.nvidia.com/prod_nucleus/prod_nucleus/installation/docker/stacks/core/2020.3.0/review.html

What happens is that I almost lose my Internet connection. There is very high and intermittent latency in connecting to any servers including DNS. The only fix that I found was to uninstall docker. If I reinstall docker, I will lose the Internet again. This has happened on two computers so far. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

What do you suggest avoiding these problems? Should I use a virtual machine? Which one supports Omniverse Nucleus?

Thank you

Hi. Yes, I would recommend install Nucleus on a separate VM. Here’s the system requirements for Nucleus:
