New Installation - Error Loading Templates

Hello,

I’ve recently installed Nsight, Visual Studio Edition. The installation appeared to work fine (no exceptions etc). However when attempting to create any Android project I receive the following error.

I’m using Visual Studio 2010 SP1 on Window 7 x64 SP1.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

hi marxek,
This seems that your installation failed with some error. Could you check if there is any template in this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\NVIDIA\Nsight Tegra\1.2\ProjectTemplates\Android\1033 ?
If not, could you try re-install again? And check the log to see if there is any error.

I don’t have…

I do have…

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\NVIDIA\Nsight Tegra[b]1.1[/b]\ProjectTemplates\Android\1033

Hello marxek,

Could you please check the installed Nsight Tegra version? You can do that by opening the Help → About Microsoft Visual Studio window and searching for the Nsight Tegra line. The gray number to the right of it is the product version. If it is not “1.2” then please install the latest TADP (it contains the latest Nsight Tegra) and see if the problem reproduces.
